Uh oh ... it's been a while since his last freakout, too. As great as he is, he's a total whack-job.
He lost his shit at the Ryman in 2002 after someone demanded Summer of '69 about 200 times. Wouldn't play until the dude was booted.
I saw him at Sokol, barely lucid, rambling about internet bloggers and how they'll all rush home after the show and say how much he had to drink, typing their missives while eating Cheetos and drinking Mountain Dew. That was a 3+ hour show that probably only featured 2 hours of music. Afterward, he hung out in the Kum and Go parking lot for another hour, signing autographs and drinking beer.
The dude slammed Paul Westerburg, he needs to die! He would be lucky to carry Westerburg's sweaty boxers. I don't even know who he is and I know everything. I'm sure he'll be dead soon.
actually, shim, you're probably right. But not for slamming Paul Westerburg -- the dude used to do a speedball every day. I'm guessing he may have relapsed.
But do check him out sometime on iTunes. Or I can burn you some stuff.
